What is a Dedicated Server?

A Dedicated Server, dedicated hosting service, or managed dedicated hosting services is a type of web hosting where the client use an entire server and not shared with anyone. In brief, the server is dedicated for the use of a specific client. This is more flexible than shared web hosting, as client have complete control over the dedicated server, including the choice of operating system, hardware and configurations of the server system.

Server administration & management is provided by QS SALES & SERVICES as an add-on service. In most cases a dedicated server can offer less overhead, reduce capital investment and a larger return on investment. QS dedicated servers are securely hosted in a purpose built data centre with redundant power sources, HVAC ("Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning" ) systems, fast internet connections, CCTV and 24x7 monitoring.

In contrast to Server Co-location, the server hardware is provided and owned by QS and support for hardware, operating system is included as part of QS Dedicated Server Package. Having a dedicated server will provide your sites with a higher level of security, speed, and uptime. You will have the capability to go far beyond the resource limitations found in a shared hosting environment.

Terms and conditions:

• Server availability depends on the availability of our stocks and is based on the first come first serve basis.
• Domain name registration fee is not refundable.
• Setup fee will apply for cancellation within first month.
• Default System OS is CentOS Linux.
• Server will be hosted in TM Data Center KL
• Server setup will take 3 - 14 working days depend on hardware availability.
• Service cancellation need to be made 30 days in advance.
